NSPA - Cooperation with Industry
NSPA is the primary procurement Agency for NATO. The Medical Section is mandated to provide support for national or collective NATO requests for medical support. This may range from simple supply, through to complex projects or even services support. To deliver these requirements, NSPA must first engage with industry. This involves determining the state of the marketplace – the scope of capability available to NATO. Thereafter, NSPA must prepare the requirements of the customer nations to ensure they are appropriate for competitive bidding and then conduct the process to fulfil the procurement. This process creates opportunities and challenges.
