Temperature and climate chambers create reproducible test conditions for materials, components and complete systems
BINDER GmbH is expanding its portfolio to address the specific requirements of the defence industry. The company provides environmental simulation chambers and project-specific testing solutions for applications in which materials, components and systems must operate reliably even under demanding environmental conditions.

Reliable results for safety-critical applications
BINDER systems precisely reproduce defined temperature and humidity conditions. This gives development teams and test laboratories reproducible results as a basis for assessing quality, safety and operational capability. The simulation chambers support standards-compliant testing, including testing in accordance with MIL-STD and STANAG.

Testing technology for a wide range of components and systems
The portfolio includes climate and temperature test chambers, walk-in climate chambers and battery test chambers. Depending on the model, the climate chambers cover temperature ranges from -70 to 180 degrees Celsius and humidity ranges from 10 to 98 per cent relative humidity. Walk-in chambers with floor areas of up to 22 square metres are available for large components, assemblies and complete systems.

Battery test chambers provide controlled test conditions for cells, modules and packs.
Optional safety equipment can be configured on the basis of EUCAR hazard levels.
Temperature test chambers complete the portfolio for drying, heat treatment and thermal storage at temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius.

Engineering and service throughout the system lifecycle
Not every testing task can be handled with a standard configuration. BINDER therefore also develops project-specific solutions based on proven systems. These include special access ports and reinforcements, the integration of customer-specific components, enhanced controller functions and fully customisable walk-in climate chambers.

Technical consulting, support with parameter configuration, documentation, certificates and standards-related test records are provided throughout planning and implementation. Installation, commissioning, maintenance, calibration and technical support then contribute to reliable, compliant operation.

In this way, BINDER addresses key requirements of technical decision-makers in defence testing laboratories.
