CHORA: Leading the Future of Electronic Warfare with Cutting-Edge SatCom Solutions
21.09.2024
Founded in 1994, Chora stands as a leading expert in Electronic Warfare (EW), delivering mission-critical SatCom monitoring and localisation solutions for land, sea, and air applications. With over 30 years of battle-proven expertise, Chora’s success is built upon three fundamental pillars:
- A World-Class Team: Chora’s team consists of highly skilled engineers and developers, renowned for their boldness and dedication to innovation. They continuously seek, test, and implement the latest technologies to create cutting-edge solutions. All personnel hold security clearances, ensuring the highest standards of trust and confidentiality.
- Commitment to Innovation: Chora reinvests a substantial portion of its revenue into research and development, fostering continuous innovation. This commitment enables the company to remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Chora maintains close relationships with its customers, using their feedback and ideas as a primary source of inspiration for its development efforts. This collaborative approach ensures that Chora’s solutions are tailored to address real-world operational challenges.
Chora’s mission is clear: to deliver innovative solutions that meet the tangible needs of its customers. Every product is a testament to this ambition—robust, mobile, and designed to meet the precise expectations of operators in the field.
The company’s flagship solutions provide simultaneous monitoring of SatCom services alongside highly precise localisation and tracking of terminals, even when techniques are employed to obscure a device’s location. These solutions support a wide range of applications, from land, sea, and air missions to one-off or continuous operations, whether strategic or tactical, managed remotely or on-site. Aerial deployment, such as through aircraft, drones, or high-altitude balloons, ensures extended line-of-sight (LoS) in proportion to altitude.
Chora’s monitoring, localisation, and tracking solutions prioritise mobility, utilising compact and lightweight hardware components that fit into a standard-sized backpack. These systems can be deployed within minutes on any platform, making them ideal for rapid relocations. In a simple backpack or at the feet of a passenger in a car, Chora’s equipment takes up very little space, remains well hidden and can be easily transferred from one vehicle to another.
Manufactured in Denmark, Chora’s tactical and strategic solutions are distributed globally through its subsidiary in Germany, a network of local distributors, and a select group of trusted partners.
As a reliable and agile partner, Chora plays a critical role in supporting the operational success of today’s intelligence forces and is poised to remain indispensable for the missions of tomorrow.
