The war in Ukraine has reminded us of the importance of preparedness and self-sufficiency in defence, as well as the indispensable role played by the domestic defence industry.

The Czech defence and security industry has proven its flexibility, reliability, and ability to respond swiftly to crisis situations. Cooperation with our partners and allies has been key during these times, not only for securing our armed forces but also for strengthening supply chains and ensuring production continuity even during the most demanding periods. It is during a crisis that we truly see how vital it is to have a strong and self-sufficient industry that can rapidly and effectively respond to new demands and unexpected threats.
