Ladies and gentlemen, business partners, FFF participants and supporters,

In October, Prague once again becomes the centre of meetings of Czech and foreign experts in the field of defence and security. Traditionally, all major institutions of state administration, science, research, education and experts in the military and civil security sector have been involved in the preparation of the wide expert programme. Special thanks go to the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Police, the Fire Rescue Corps, the Prison Service and the Customs Administration. With the help of a number of other key supporters, we have expanded the scope of the Forum, which will once again bring together many leaders not only from the Alliance countries, EU structures and their partners, but also delegations of security experts from more than sixty countries around the world.

Current experiences show that defence and security must be built in a broader context. Hybrid threats are becoming increasingly complex, and therefore defence and prevention require interdisciplinary approaches, utilizing all available modern technologies, including disruptive ones. It remains true that international security must be defended with allies as thoroughly as internal security. External and internal security are interconnected in fact. From a global perspective, the democratic parts of the world have no choice but to build joint capabilities, pool their skills, share knowledge and create a detergent force sufficient to protect us from the hostile threats undemocratic and terrorist structures.

The FUTURE FORCES FORUM is evolving in this direction, striving to respond immediately to current developments and, of course, to the future as well. Our project regularly offers a unique venue, along with an inspiring environment, for meetings and professional discussions among experts from around the world. We believe that the FFF platform will help accelerate the achievement of defence and security objectives, update strategic planning, and thereby contribute to strengthening security.

As part of the exhibition, expert program, and both static and dynamic demonstrations, participants will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the latest technologies in the areas of military and security force equipment, protection against weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, civilian protection, unmanned and robotic systems, border security, counter-terrorism defence, principles of cybersecurity and ethics, crisis management systems, civil-military cooperation, logistics processes, the use of innovative materials, and more. We strive to continuously grow and bring more valuable contacts, useful insights, and practical experiences to all forum attendees.

FFF is a platform for bringing together users, experts, researchers, and developers, as well as representatives from academia, industry, and business to establish connections and foster collaboration in ensuring national and international defence and security. It presents the interests, needs and acquisition plans of the military, integrated rescue system units (police, fire and rescue service, emergency medical services), the prison service, and other uniformed units, along with both domestic and foreign public authorities, local governments, industry, and the latest advancements in science, research, and education.  It interconnects and transforms the targeted public and private sector interest into effective long-term cooperation.

In conclusion, allow me to express my gratitude to the representatives from the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as to all our partners, especially the Czechoslovak Group, for their invaluable support, which we greatly appreciate and which allows us to continue growing. I sincerely hope that this year's 15th edition of the project will once again provide all participants with a rich professional experience in a friendly working atmosphere.

On behalf of the entire Future Forces Forum team, I cordially invite you to take part of the FFF and look forward to seeing you in Prague.
